Via ferrata
The Spider’s bridge via ferrata is not currently being built, we are in the fundraising stage. The opening is scheduled for 2020.
A world record is being prepared on Niouc’s Spider bridge!
Ferathor has more than 1,000 via ferrata to his credit. He supports us in this project and is committed to accomplish a 4th world record, by achieving the feat of climbing this via ferrata as quickly as possible, weighted with more than 50kg of chains, on the inauguration’s day ! A big party in the planning! We are counting on your help and do not hesitate to spread the word !

As you know, for several years now, we have been working on various projects to develop the Niouc’s Spider bridge destination. A few weeks ago, we launched a participative fundraising campaign. We need 130’000.- francs for the construction of a via ferrata of the Niouc’s Spider bridge, a free activity, open to families. The Department of Economy of the Canton of Valais has already given its support for 30,000 francs, the « Loterie Romande » for 15,000 francs and several private. We are now asking for your help ! If you could donate (see below) and/or invite your friends, family, neighbors, maybe your company or everyone you would think of to contribute, please share this project (or share this link).

Whatever your budget, you can contribute to the realization of the Via Ferrata of the Niouc’s Spider bridge:

When the work is done: time for a fiesta!
Once the funds will be raised, it will take about 2 months to complete the work, which will be directly followed by the inauguration. Here is the pre-program (date will follow):
- 10h-11h30 : official opening of the via ferrata by the contributors of the monkey bridge
- 11h-16h : presentation of activities, guided tours of the bridge and activities for children
- 11h30-12h : world speed and weight (more than 50 kg of chains) record by Ferathor
- 12h-13h : raclettes, barbecue, musical entertainment
- 13h-14h : street workout demonstrations
- 14h-15h : other demonstrations and performances
